Ok, I tried the best I could to find a search term that would yield images or videos of what I was trying to find, but then couldn’t. So I guess, I will just have to write a few thousand words instead. 🙂
There’s been a lot of fuss really about the recent IPL and the cheerleaders. All the cheerleaders are asking the Government officials is to “Bare with them”, but these buggers, can’t even consider that request!! They keep saying “Not in public place.” 😉 (Wonder what they mean.)
Anyway, I was watching Chennai’s match yesterday and I couldn’t help noticing something about the Chennai cheerleaders’ moves. It seemed oddly familiar. I am sure I have seen that somewhere before. Then it came to me….
Proposed Changes:
I propose the following changes,
1) Take away those frilly cheer-leading-things (?) from them and give them a bunch of neem leaves instead. (Neem wards of evil and is supposed to be healthy. No ? What’s more ? If you forget to brush your teeth, guess what you can use ?)
2) The attire can be duly changed from team colours (uniforms) to sarees or something more suitable to go with the culture. 🙂 (You can still maintain support to the team by wearing Yellow sarees. Isn’t that what people wear in temples normally ?)
3) Change the music to “Mariamma, Mariamma……..” Sivamani can manage the drumming I guess. 🙂
Ok, you pretty much get where I am going with this, don’t you ? No ? (Ok, thank God for you, I found some pictures finally. Thousand words was looking like a daunting task. Phew.)

Atleast on reading it again, it sounds funny. 🙂 That I don’t know it’s name should suggest I wasn’t one when I was in school and how alien the concept of cheerleaders are to Indians. (Culture ? 😀 )

Actually i missed a lot during that match. Because i went there with my L& T friend. Because of some reasons she not allowed me to see those cheer girls. So what to do? I should stick with it… Some what bad!!!
Hoi Champ… The things that you proposed here are theoretically ok, but its hard to see in practical life. Because if it comes true then most of the people won’t come to see the match. At the same time, i was bit disappointed with the photos, they are not that much …….!!!! Fine compared to mine in my blog its some what less. Hahahaha!!!!!
On the ground Rajasthan Cheer leaders are so nice to see… I mean the dance!!!!

Not all would come to see the cheer leaders rather than watching the match, do you think our ppl have gone mad to pay so much to see the CHEer leaders 🙂 than the match ( except very few like you 😆 )
Hey don’t leak out the secrets here… Hehehehehe!!!!!! Actually i went on to see the match, but unfortunately i was missed every thing…. As you said, not all would come to see those cheer leaders. Because nothing is there to see. I mean match is that much hot to see as compared to those ones. I would like to see sixers and fours rather then looking at those girls. But the sad thing is even there also those girls are always watching me, instead of cheering the crowd. Cha cha… Luckily i sat near to them to cheer them up Rachel…. Hehehehehee!!!!!

We had pom poms in school. Everyone waving them half-heartedly during inter-house competitions used to be funny.
